They are off to Rome, Italy and sign a record contract with Hard Rock plus $$$$$$ Welcomes Seattles own Joyfield Joyfield is a Seattle based indie pop band that has been together for 5 years. The band has been told they sound like a mix between Joy Formidable and Metric. Ellie (Vocal/keys), Michael (guitar), and Karris (drums) met in college. In 2013 Joyfield added Sean (bass) and the band has spent the last year reworking their style and developing a new sound. Joyfield has been steadily making a name for themselves and recently won Seattle's Hard Rock Rising 2014 Battle of the Bands. Joyfield is currently recording their new album "Hands" and plan to release their first single on April 28th 2014.
